TV station update
Just this past week, we've started recording for our first group video for the channel. It has been a long time coming, and it's an amazing feeling to have a full team that is working well together. Everyone on the team is excited to be shooting for the production, and are excited to pick up individual projects when it's finished.
Getting everything set to move forward has been more work than I anticipated, but we managed to stick to our schedule for the most part, and plan everything out for a first video to introduce viewers to our current team.
We've also upgraded the actual station, so we can record live broadcasts and packages in-studio again. That was the biggest hurdle to get over, but now that we have that capability, it will give us a lot more versatility in how we shoot productions and put them together. After a lot of hard work it's great to see everything come together and start working towards a channel that will try to provide high quality content to its viewers.
By the beginning of next semester, we are planning to have a fully set schedule with consistent content that students and faculty can watch to get news updates of what's going on around campus, recaps of events and just fun videos to watch. We're hoping you guys will enjoy what you see when we finish getting it up and running.
If you guys have any ideas of what you want to see on the channel, feel free to comment and let me know.

I am very excited for you guys and can’t wait to see it once it is fully up and running! I am sure PRSSA would be willing to get involved with the content ideas!
ReplyDeleteThat'd be great if PRSSA got involved! We'll always be looking for new content and ideas, so they are more than welcome to submit videos.
