If you're looking for cool DIY projects, interesting things to buy and are a woman, then Pinterest is for you. At least that's what the "Social Media Marketing Workbook" says. Demographically speaking and a lot of the items that are available on Pinterest do skew heavily to the female demographic like the book says, but full disclosure, I have used Pinterest before and I've seen some cool gift ideas on there, or neat little projects to put together if you want to. Just recently, over the summer, I was looking for a decent watch as something I could ask for for my birthday.
So, while the majority of items on there do fall more into the female demographic, I still feel it can definitely be useful for most people. I encourage people to go looking on there and see what you can find that's relevant to you. You never know what you might find useful, or just see as a cool gift idea, either for yourself or for someone you know. There's no harm in going and looking at something that interests you. For example, I was just looking around there while writing this post and I found some awesome movie posters that are made out of metal.
Have some fun with it, and see what you can find. Pinterest is a really neat to place to visit.
